Maggie Craggs
Maggie Craggs serves as a Policy Analyst at Leonine FOCUS, where she applies her strong background in political analysis and public policy to support clients with in-depth research and insights. She is passionate about exploring complex topics and values the collaborative and supportive nature of the FOCUS team.
Maggie holds a Master’s in Political Management from George Washington University, where she gained expertise in strategic communications, legislative processes and content strategy. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude with a minor in Legal Studies.
Before joining FOCUS, Maggie gained experience in both the nonprofit and education sectors. As an intern with PennEnvironment, she focused on policy research, regulatory analysis and government affairs, fostering cooperation between the organization, its members and legislators. She also worked as a humanities instructor at Aim Academy, where she independently developed and led social science courses for students with learning differences.
Originally from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Maggie now resides in Richmond, Virginia. In her free time, she’s an avid reader, enjoys hiking, exploring National Parks and tending to her growing collection of houseplants. She’s a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan and proudly admits that the city’s reputation for passionate sports fandom is well-earned. In 2021, she had a memorable encounter with Eagles legend Jason Kelce while walking down the street at the Jersey Shore — a moment her friends and family still talk about as if she met the Pope.
